Prof. Nicola Flora, who’s currently teaching in Ascoli Piceno (Italy), has invited few italian architects with different backgrounds (including Nicola Pagliara and Umberto Riva) to talk about a built residential project for private clients. On the 1st of April we are going to open progetto (in) materiale presenting to a group of architecture students our favourite (and very first) house: the one with ‘garden and caves’ that, although not completely finished, has been posted few times on our blog.

the Institute for psychiatric rehab Fatebenefratelli
of S. Colombano al Lambro, Milan, Italy and with
Prof. Gennaro Postiglione, DPA / Politecnico di Milano
launch a national ideas competition for architecture
students for the design of a bar within a hospital for
psychiatric rehabilitation to be managed by patients.

naval town workshop

lorenzo bini from studiometrico has been among the tutors
at the naval town workshop in dubrovnik, croatia. although
very small, clumpsy and ‘low-tech-ed’, his team has managed
to produced a strong and provocative proposal that rised a lot
of questions and gave only few extravagant answers on a very
crucial issue: how is the city going to deal with a new harbour?
we post here few slides from the final presentation that was
attacked but not discussed by a disappointed vedran mimica
